Buttons, buttons

I was able to carve out some stamping time last night while watching some shows. I'm loving the button sets from PTI right now. The first card is using Everyday Button Bit, Hawaiian Shores CS, Pure Poppy CS, Beautiful Blooms patterned paper, Polka Dots Basic Stamp set and my scalloped nestabilities along with PTI buttons.

Here's a closeup of the middle

This card uses the Baby Button Bits stamp set. I used a Kraft CS base for the card, Beautiful Blooms patterned paper, Simply Chartreuse ribbon and ink, Pure Poppy CS. (Ignore what looks like a grayish smudge in the middle of the elephant, bad photography)

And another one using Baby Button Bits stamp set, Kfraft cardstock base, Lavender Moon CS, more Kraft CS, Lavender Moon ribbon and a dark chocolate button.

Inky Challenge!

I didn't nearly get through all my stamps, only 4 sets. Better than none I'm telling myself! I'm in the middle of working on another card using the Woodgrain Basics Background set right now.

Here I used Baby Button Bits. I used PTI white cardstock and PTI Pretty Pastels patterned paper and a PTI brown button, dark chocolate felt and Bitty Dot Basics patterned paper.

Here is another baby card using Baby Button Bits. I used the bear image, a PTI plum pudding button and cardstock. A sentiment from Bitty Baby Blessings is on the inside.

Here is a birthday card I made my BIL using Up, Up and Away. I used the new Just For You stamps on the bag with the cookies for him. I also used the new Mat Stack 2 Die.

Inky Challenge!

The Challenge: Use your Papertrey stamps that have not been inked up yet!

I thought it might be easiest if I did a Mr. Linky box and then we can hop around to see everyones creations.

May Blog Hop Challenge

This is my first PTI Blog Hop! I didn't do anything extrodinary, just a couple of cards with felt flowers. I can't wait until they come out with their fantabulous felt in every PTI color. Oh my!

Get Your Stamps Inky Challenge!

Here we go. The challenge is to USE all your stamp sets that have not seen INK yet from Papertrey Ink! Who's up for the challenge? I have 13 sets that have not been used yet. I am determined to use them this week. You could also combine different stamp sets on the same project if you don't have time to do a seperate project/card for each stamp set. Just an idea.

Make your projects and post them to your blog by June 1st @ 7:00 p.m. and we'll do a Blog Hop! Think of all the inspiration and ideas you'll gain from all of your fellow PTI stampers!

Here are the sets I have not used yet:
Everyday Button Bits
Tiny Treats Valentine
Vintage Labels
Say it with Style
Vintage Picnic Sentiments
Background Basics: Woodgrain
2009 Halloween Tags

Cards, cards, cards

Here are a few cards I made the other night. I learned a few new ribbon techniques from Nichole Heady of Papertrey Ink and I can't wait to make more cards with them. http://nicholeheady.typepad.com/.a/6a00d8341c64e753ef01348048daf5970c-pi

All of my cards have something on them that is Papertrey Ink, if not all the materials.

My Craft Space

I finally came down and was able to clean up my space a bit and take some new pictures. I'm in the process of purging older supplies and am going to donate them.

New scrapbook pages

Well, Ethan is 18 months old so I guess I'm way behind on scrapping his hospital photos. Bad mommy. Lol. Here are four pages I've done in the past couple of days. I have one more two page layout to do of his first visitors in the hospital. I really need to catch up on his baby book. Change of subject: LOM. I am so glad I took this class last year becuase I knew right where to go and find these photos. If not for that class, I would not have known. I registered as an alum the other day and can't wait to continue working on the class. I only made it about 30% through last year so I still have lots of work to do on my photos but it's a work in progress, right?

I've finally found some time to be crafty again. It feels great. Here is a Valentine's hanger I made for the kitchen. My goal is make one for each holiday. I used the new Paper Trey Valentine's 8 x 8 pad for the background paper. I used my cricut to cut LOVE. Although it took me forever to figure out how to layer them. Guess I need to use it more often. Another goal, use what I have.
